Intro

VENICE URBAN PARK – ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION

This contest invites participants to transform the unique venetian island of La Certosa into a public park that meets contemporary standards, accessible year-round to both residents and visitors.

The project seeks to enrich the city’s natural heritage while offering a new perspective on how Venice could blend its historical legacy with the need for a sustainable development focused on the well-being of its community.

The goal is to give back to the city a public space of immense value, positioning itself as a virtuous case study for other places seeking to tackle the complex urban challenges of the present.

To celebrate the project’s vision and achievements, an exhibition of the best finalist proposals will be held on the Island in September 2025 (date and schedule to be confirmed).
